Child abuse can occur at anytime, in any place and be committed by anyone. It is the responsibility of all of us enjoying Pondicherry to protect children. By working together we can ensure that we stop child abuse...NOW...please spend a moments to see what you can do:         STAY ALERT TO ABUSE If you see a child in danger, immediately inform local police, hospitals or child support organisations, including Kalki.                 DONT TOLERATE CHILD LABOUR It is illegal for children under 16 to be working. Child labour is exploitation. It takes away a childhood & limits a child's future prospects. Avoid using services which use child workers and inform Kalki so we can offer support to these children.                 AVOID PLACES THAT ALLOW PROSTITION By supporting businesses that tolerate prostitution you are supporting an environment that places children at risk. Do not hesitate to report cases .                 NEVER BUY FROM CHILD SELLERS OR GIVE TO CHILDREN OR MOTHERS BEGGING This will mean these children remain on the streets, away from school and puts them at extreme risk.
